I think it really showed how sad the Great Depression was and what homeless people had to eat back then. It was realistic and Dante was very funny.

The soup kitchen day was a good excpirence. Everybody dressed like hobos(well maybe not H.O.B.O.). The hoover blankets finished the look. And the apples were great, I wish their was more. I gave like two people 75c. It just was fun.

I thought that the soup kitchen was a pretty good activity. It gave us more insight on what it was like in the Great Depression and on the soup lines. Some people were great at dressing up and selling apples or newspapers. It was pretty hard eating the soup without a spoon though. Especially because it was in a cup.

I thought the Soup Kitchen was very fun, especially when I stole money from Kurt and then I got kicked out. I also liked it when Bella spilled her soup all over the desk.

I thought that the soup kitchen was fun and tasty! It really put us in the shoes of people from the Great Depression. Everyone did a great job at acting everything out. I really like how Rebecca was passing us and threw a few cents in the middle of the hallway and everyone in my section jumped to grab one. It was hard not to laugh when Dante almost walked into the girl’s bathroom and his accent was terrific. So, to cover up my laughing, I acted as though I was crying (but I was just hiding the smile on my face). Even though, it seems like it was fun going through the experience I understand that for the people in the thirties had it hard.
